Bus Δ Flow is transforming a retired transit bus into a mobile recording studio, performance stage, and creative hub that will bring music, mentorship, digital storytelling, and creative opportunities directly into underserved communities across Oregon.

This community-powered project began with the generous donation of a retired transit bus from Black Futures Farm and is being thoughtfully renovated by Canopy Builds. Together with local artists, mentors, and young people, we're reimagining what a mobile youth space can be.

Supported by a Community Technology Grant from the Mt. Hood Cable Regulatory Commission (MHCRC), Bus Δ Flow was designed with youth—not just for youth. Young people received paid creative stipends to document the build through photography and film, contribute to the design process, and co-design the mobile studio they wanted to see in their own community. The grant is also helping equip the bus with cameras, computers, creative software, and media technology that will support music production, filmmaking, podcasting, and digital storytelling for years to come.
